It does not matter how small your business is, you really should have a web site! But I have a Facebook account I hear you say.
I personally know of one business that, when there web site went, and they relied only on advertising through Facebook, their custom collapsed. As I type (Aug 2024) I suspect it will fail totally.
Facebook is great for spreading the word, but your post on Facebook is only at the head of any listing for five minutes before somebody else posts to the group and down the rankings you go.
To pay for Facebook sponsored advertising is OK if you know what you are doing and it can get very expensive, I know I have tried it.
Let me tell you what I think the two things are that are "King" in this day and age for promoting a business, a web site and a mailing list.
